3 easy everyday habits to start the day off right (that my clients love)

I know, I know there are tons of different articles out there that start this way. Why would you want to read another one?

I get that. If you don’t want to read it, I am totally ok with that. If you do, buckle in.

Haha just kidding. It’s not that serious.

Not only do my clients love these small but effective habits to start the day but they are something that I practice daily.

They have made such an impact on my own life that I shared them with my clients and now you.

Here we go…

Make Your Bed

As kids this was such an annoying task, to some it might still be. I can’t tell you how many times I have heard “why would I make my bed? I am just going to get back in it.”

I am about to tell you why!

It is a simple task. Take 30 seconds to a couple of minutes each morning.

You can do anything in 30 seconds.

It also gives you your first WIN of the day.

Your first accomplishment of the day.

You can check it off that ever-growing to-do list.

It proves to you that the little things in life matter. If you pay attention to the little things, you will also pay attention to the big things.

If you do nothing else during the day, you made your bed. Boom! Something done.

If you feel you have accomplished “nothing” in the day, you made your bed. Boom! Accomplished.

This act sets the tone for your day. It encourages you to keep going to do another task.

BONUS– It helps you to not crawl back into bed. (Remember that to-do list)

Daily Affirmations

This one is everywhere. I mean everywhere.

The reason they are everywhere is that they work. They help to shift your mindset and your brain chemistry to help you chase after what you want. To push for what you know you deserve.

The power of language.

Write them on a post-it, place them on your mirror, and say them out loud every morning. Heck, every time you look in that mirror.

The more you say them the more your brain will search for all the reasons it’s true. The evidence will start to pile up. You will start to see a difference in how much you love yourself.

And who doesn’t want that?

Need some ideas? I got you.

💜I am enough.

💜I am loved.

💜I deserve what I work for.

💜I am beautiful.

💜I am smart.

💜It is going to be an awesome day.

💜I believe in myself.

💜It is ok to take a break when you need it.

💜I am a superhero.

Avoid the Scale

This one is a little controversial in my line of work. But I am a strong believer in it. The scale can be demeaning, demotivating, and unrealistic to your success.

And guess what?

You are not a number!

You are not defined by a pound!

You are so much more that whatever the scale may or may not say.

And let me be frank, the scale is RUDE!

The world doesn’t see that number, so why should you?

The world sees your confidence. Your determination. You!

It’s time for you to see the same and so much more.

I believe in taking the numbers out of better health. This is the first step.

You deserve to feel the best and the scale can bring you down. You don’t deserve that.

The scale doesn’t measure your worth.

It doesn’t measure your inner beauty and strength.

It doesn’t measure your heart, kindness, and self-love.

You are beautiful!
