Stop You’re Logging Your Food Wrong!!

What?!? How can I be logging my food wrong? You don’t know me.
Is that what you are thinking?
One of the first things that people are told when they start a new weight loss program or even to get their health in check is to start logging their food. That can be either calories or macronutrients (carbohydrates, proteins, and fats).
Does this work? Yes. Not saying that it doesn’t. It can be great for some people. Especially those who need to for medical reasons track specific foods. Some people also have some incredible success with it.
But is it ALWAYS sustainable success??? From my experience, no it’s not. Unless you have intentions of tracking forever (insert BURNOUT).
Once people do stop logging their food they go right back to old eating patterns and tend to put weight back on plus some.
Here’s the number 1 reason why.
They don’t understand why they are eating.
There are so many different reasons to be eating.
➡Fuel.
➡Hunger.
➡Boredom.
➡Emotion.
➡Celebration.
Etc.
Some of those are extremely obvious and some others are not.
Some of those are necessary and some are not.
I can’t tell you how many times I have heard about yo-yo dieting or “I know what to do, I have done it before.” The people start to beat themselves up. Failure, self-doubt, and negative self-talk start to come into play. All of those are extremely tough things to feel.
But…. And that’s a BIG but. One T, not two T’s!
🤔What if you didn’t have to do that anymore?
🤔What if you said, “I lost X pounds and I didn’t even need to diet.”?
🤔What if you could learn to believe in yourself again?
🤔What if you talked positively about yourself?
Those questions give you something to think about.
